Are you addicted to the super popular game called “Clash of Clans”? If so, you can learn a lot of Chinese playing the game in Chinese while still having a ton of fun. And you can make many friends doing so. Clash of Clans is very popular in Greater China, and I actually learned about the game and got started playing the game 2 or 3 years ago in Mainland China with Chinese friends.
One of the most exciting things about Clash of Clans is that there are millions of people playing the game. Chinese people are among the largest population of users of the game.
How To Change Language To Chinese In Clash Of Clans
To change the language to Chinese with Simplified Characters, simply click on the 3 gears icon → languages → 简体中文
Or do 3 gears icon → languages → 繁體中文
If you want Chinese with Traditional Characters.
If you get the jitters while in Chinese and want to go back to your own language, simply click on the 3 gears icon, and look for 语言 (which mean languages) and choose the language you want.
I am going to assume you chose the one with Simplified Characters since there are many more Mainland Chinese people playing Clash of Clans than Chinese people from other regions.
The convention I will use for the following definitions will be the English word first, followed by the Chinese equivalent in Chinese Characters followed by those Chinese characters transliterated into Pinyin with tone marks.
I didn’t get all the Chinese vocab from Clash of Clans, but did enough to get you started. I use the translations that the makers of the game use. One great thing is that all the buildings, characters, and game play in Clash of Clans are all the same in all the various languages, so you can switch back and forth if you have difficulties.
